Accreditation & Press Center

An overview of all information journalists need in order to participate in the trade fair.

Accreditation

We want to make it easy for journalists to access information by means of accreditation. To get your free press ticket in advance to LASER World of PHOTONICS, please register online.

ATTENTION! Please note that you will need to provide evidence that you are a journalist when applying for accreditation. Please have ready the documentation you will be using as proof that you are a journalist (PDF or JPG, max. 150 KB):

  • An official, valid press pass (member cards of journalistic organisations are no press pass),
  • an imprint, which verifies your editorial activity and which is not older than 6 months,
  • a recent article, which includes your name and is not older than 6 months (for photographers: photo with credit).

Online accreditation

With the online accreditation, you will receive your free press ticket before the start of the trade fair. Please have ready the documentation you will be using as proof that you are a journalist (PDF or JPG, max. 1 MB). In case your file is bigger than 1 MB, please send it to registrierung@messe-muenchen.de and use the subject accredition LASER World of PHOTONICS.

Once your information has been verified, you will receive your Print@home ticket by e-mail. You will then need to print out your ticket and bring it with you to the trade fair. Your Print@home ticket will give you free access for the entire duration of the event.

Accreditation on-site

Of course you also can get yourself accredited on site at the Press Center in Entrance East during LASER World of PHOTONICS. Please remember to submit valid credentials verifying your status as a journalist. Please understand that press cards may only be issued to those, who can verify their status as a journalist. For this please note the accreditation guidelines of Messe München.

Press center

The Press Center is a gathering place for journalists from around the world. It is a point of contact for those covering the international trade fair LASER World of PHOTONICS and is located at the fairgrounds on the 1st upper level above the West Entrance.

Workstations and the press conference room are on the 2nd upper level.

Further information

  • Your press ticket does not entitle you to free use of the Munich public transport network (MVV).
  • Press parking: As an accredited member of the press, you can park for free in the Parking Lot West. Parking lot entrance tickets are exchanged for exit tickets at the Press Counter free of charge.
