Innovation Award 2022: The winner is SI Stuttgart Instruments!

On the first day of LASER World of PHOTONICS 2022, the category winners and the Innovation Award winner were chosen: SI Stuttgart Instruments won the €5,000 prize for its ALPHA infrared laser, which covers the spectrum from 700 nm to 20 µm in a compact housing and can be adjusted automatically.

As category winners, the jury chose:

  • Hamamatsu Photonics (Biophotonics and medical engineering)
  • SI Stuttgart Instruments (Laser and optoelectronics / Illumination and energy)
  • QiOVA (Laser systems for industrial production engineering)
  • Glassomer GmbH (Optics / Manufacturing technology for optics)
  • ID Quantique (Quantum technologies)
  • XARION Laser Acoustics (Sensors, test and measurement / Optical Measuring Systems / Imaging)

We would like to sincerely thank all exhibitors for their active participation and the many submissions and look forward to the Innovation Award at LASER World of PHOTONICS 2023 next year.
