You would like to become an exhibitor at Laser World of Photonics and have questions about registration? Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions from our Laser World of Photonics exhibitors.
General

Application
Here you will find the online application as well as information on prices and conditions for main exhibitors.
After a successful application, the main exhibitor will receive a link to the online application for co-exhibitors.
You will find the individual link for registering your co-exhibitors in your application confirmation, which you received after completing the online application. This registration link is also available in the Laser World of Photonics registration portal. Under “My applications”, select the “co-exhibitors” icon next to the current satus; here you will find the appropiate registration link.
If you have registered as an exhibitor for various events of Messe München, please make sure that you select the Laser World of Photonics registration.
If you have registered several stands for Laser World of Photonics, please select the stand for which you want to register the co-exhibitors.
Fee
Main exhibitors will be charged EUR 940 for each co-exhibitor registration. Co-exhibitors will be included in the fair media to the same extent as main exhibitors. The entry is compulsory and the communication fee due for this is already covered by the fee of EUR 940.

The application for Laser World of Photonics is non-binding until the placement proposal has been confirmed by you, i.e. cancellation of the application is possible until then without causing any costs.
Nevertheless, we do require your completed online application in advance in order to be able to properly manage your data for the placement.
An application is first non-binding and not linked to any costs. Cancellation fees will only be charged if you wish to return your stand space after your confirmation of the placement proposal.

In the event that Messe München GmbH is able to sublet the stand space to a new exhibitor, the cancellation fee will be 25% of the participation fee. If it is not possible to sublet the space, 100% of the participation fee will be charged.

Placement
The planning of the halls begins on September 1, 2026.
You are expected to receive a stand proposal by e-mail to the correspondence contact named in the application in November 2026. The placement proposal will include your exact positioning in the specific hall.
With your registration you can request your preferred stand positions. During the planning phase, we will do our best to take into account the stand requests of all registered companies. However, please understand that we cannot fulfill all wishes.
After the start of allocation of stands, you will receive a stand proposal by e-mail to the correspondence contact named in the application.
Check this proposal carefully, especially with regard to location, stand type and size.
If you wish a different placement, please click the "Decline" button and describe your preferred placement request in as much detail as possible. We will do our best to provide you with a new placement proposal within the possibilities.
Admission / Invoicing
Once you have confirmed your stand proposal, you will receive your admission invoice from mid-January 2027.
The admission invoice includes the following items:
- Stand space
- Registration fee
- Mandatory communication fee
- Disposal fee
- Advance payment for services
- AUMA fee
The Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) charges all exhibitors a fee of EUR 0,60 per square meter of rented exhibition space. This contribution is calculated by Messe München GmbH and paid directly to AUMA.
Further information on advance payment for services:
The advance payment for services to be ordered refers to all services that you can order for the trade fair via Exhibitor Services online in the Exhibitor Shop. This includes, for example, electricity, water, compressed air, vouchers for customer invitations, etc. The amount will be invoiced per square meter. The services you actually order will be balanced against this advance payment amount when the final invoice is generated - either you will then only pay the difference or you will receive a refund.
Waste disposal fee: The obligatory waste disposal fee of EUR 6.00 per square meter covers the disposal of waste generated by the exhibitor on his stand during set-up and dismantling, as well as during the entire duration of the trade fair. The disposal of production waste, complete stand elements and complete exhibition stands is excluded from this.
Mandatory communication fee: All exhibitors will be charged a mandatory communication fee of EUR 940.00 for each of their stands. The services included in the Mandatory Communication Fee can be found in the Special Terms of Participation B (B 11).
You are only authorized to participate in the trade fair after payment of your admission invoice.
In your application you can specify whether you would like to receive our invoices as a PDF document attached to an e-mail or whether you would like to receive the invoices as a print-out by mail.
If you agree to receive invoices electronically, we ask you to provide a non-personalized e-mail address of your accounting department, if possible, which is accessible to all employees of your accounting department.
The registration invoice will be sent out starting in January 2027. It includes the following items if you have only confirmed booth space:
- Stand space
- Mandatory communication fee
- Waste disposal fee
- AUMA fee
- Advance payment for services
The registration invoice includes the following items if you have booked a stand package:
- Stand package with all-inclusive price
The final invoice will be sent to all exhibitors and co-exhibitors approximately 6 weeks after the end of the trade show. Depending on any additional orders placed, the final invoice may include the following items:
- Technical connections and utilities (e.g., electricity, water, internet)
- Additional square meters used for two-story stand construction
- Costs for suspension systems
- Telecommunications equipment
- Meeting or conference room rental + conference technology
- Tickets (additional exhibitor badges, redeemed vouchers for a day pass, parking tickets)
- Stand cleaning, stand security
- Press and marketing services
- Visitor tracking systems
- Fees (for co-exhibitors, stand parties, special events)
On the final invoice, the advance payment for services—which was already made upon payment of the registration invoice—will be offset against the services actually ordered.
Additional services, such as extra listings in trade show media, catering, rental services, freight forwarding services, decoration, etc., will be billed to you directly by the respective service providers.
We ask all exhibitors with co-exhibitors at their stand to verify before the start of the trade fair to whom we should actually invoice the additional services ordered by the co-exhibitors and to inform us accordingly if necessary.

Requests for changes made after this point will be subject to a processing fee of 50 EUR per invoice.
Trade fair planning
The Laser World of Photonics Exhibitor Shop will be available online for placed exhibitors from february 2027.

Our Technical Exhibitor Service (TAS)—Department 2 will assist you with any questions and orders regarding the technical equipment for your stand.

Our TAS team is also there for you directly on site at the trade fair.
The exhibitor service offices at the exhibition center are located in the atrium in front of Halls B2 and B5. Staffing and opening hours vary depending on the event.
Our traffic guide will lead you quickly and safely to the trade fair center and inform you about the entry and deposit regulations.

Our two official logistics companies, Kühne + Nagel and Schenker Deutschland, offer you worldwide and national transport to the Munich trade fair venue, as well as customs clearance and on-site handling, including stand delivery and temporary storage.
Furthermore, they support you with all other logistical challenges in connection with your trade fair appearance.
Each exhibitor receives free exhibitor passes depending on the size of his stand. You can find the scale in our Special Terms of Participation (Section B11).
You can access the ticket management via the Exhibitor Shop. Here you can personalize your exhibitor passes. You can also order further passes here in addition to the free exhibitor passes. The exhibitor passes will be sent by e-mail after the admission invoice has been settled by the main exhibitor.
The trade fair venue has a variety of conference and meeting rooms that can be rented for presentations, meetings and events via the Exhibitor Shop.

If you are planning advertising space on the exhibition grounds, our Media Sales department will be happy to advise you.
Each exhibitor participating in Laser World of Photonics receives one free ticket to the World of Photonics Congress. Beyond that, each exhibitor may purchase up to five congress tickets at a special price. After that, all additional tickets to the World of Photonics Congress must be purchased form one of the organizing scientific associations at the regular price.
Each ticket is personalized and may only be used by the person to whom it is issued. Tickets are not transferrable.
In 20-minute presentations, exhibitors at Laser World of Photonics can showcase their new products and application innovations at the Forums. Slots can be booked through the Exhibitor Shop.
Innovations for the Innovation Award must be submitted through the Exhibitor Shop. You can find all the information about the award here.
Order online vouchers for day passes for 24.00 EUR (plus applicable VAT) in the Exhibitor Shop.
You only pay for the tickets that are actually redeemed, and there is also a cap that depends on the size of your stand: For a stand area smaller than 100 m², you pay a maximum of two tickets per square meter rented; if the stand area is 100 m² or larger, you pay a maximum of one ticket per square meter of rented stand space.
Laser equipment, X-ray equipment, and spurious emitters can be registered for commissioning through the Exhibitor Shop.
A ticket to Laser World of Photonics also grants access to the parallel trade fairs World of Quantum and automatica.
